My Story: Ever since I was quite young, I have been afraid of the dark. I would always think there were shapes moving in the shadows. In more recent years I noticed that while I am hypo-sensitive to physical pain, I am hypersensitive to energy of all kinds, heat, electrical, spiritual. I could feel electrical currents, whether they be man made, or the aura that people put off. I eventually figured out I can siphon off energy from other people, and after talking with multiple spiritual sensitives, I also found out i can do so with ghosts. Each of these sensitives tell me that I have a very old presence that latched on to me when I was young and gives me these abilities. Once I figured out what was happening to me I found that I can sense when spiritual entities are present, and I see them as a very slight white fog on my field of vision. I did some research on my own, but there is hardly any information for me to find. I am hoping to find some help as to what I can do to control this, as I've come close to killing two people. Not by anything controlling me, but by draining their aura over a period of several hours. I just really would like any information possible...

My Story: Five days after having major surgery and still on shots of morphine a moving picture appeared on the hospital wall. In the background sat a magnificent male lion. In the foreground my father's dog Buffy was looking at me and wagging her tail. When the nurse came in I told her to take me off the shots as I was hallucinating. I told my husband about this vision. When I arrived home a phone call came from my mother informing my husband that Buffy had passed away the day I saw her. I truly believe she was saying goodbye to me and that the lion was her travelling companion.

My Story: Please answer what my wife and I saw in our bedroom. Fact #1 We were actually making love at the time, I only mention this as it may have been a factor in what happened. #2) We were both startled in the darkened room by an extremely bright flash. It appeared as a blue color (that was my initial impression) and I also had the impression that it was rectangular in fashion. We were both very startled and stopped what we were doing. Immediately going to the spot where we thought the flash had emanated, from our above our bedside table, we looked for any electronic devices, cell phones, cameras, etc. The only thing there is a lamp, which was off and only produces muted light, and a simple digital alarm clock. The light appeared to come from 2 feet or so above the table. The bedroom window had the blinds drawn all the way down. Has anyone experienced this kind of flash? I would think it was my own retinas flashing, but we both saw it.

My Story: This isn't really a Paranormal Experience its more like nightmares. Only a few months ago my father sadly past away on the 15.7.2011, it was abit of a shock because i was so close to my dad i mean every time i was in trouble i'd run to him & he'd sort everything out for me he always used to protect me from everything.. my mum found a new boyfriend his name was Ben, my dad new there was something wrong with this Ben but he didn't want to say anything he asked the police if he was on the pedophile list, they said no. but he had a criminal record, for steeling, Anyway, my dad & this Ben did not get on. Ben threatend to bomb my nans house, kill my family, kill my dad. everything! he did scare me alot so i always used to run for my dad. me & my two sisters was going to live with my dad, but sadly he died before we moved anything. Ben started to hurt me & everything after that Ben did rape me. anyway we have had him sorted but my mum still stays in contact he still had a pair of our keys which frightened me even more, because i used to think he was going to come back & hurt me, my mum has got rid of him now, but i still get threatend on funny phone calls with his voice, we have changed the locks, but im still very scared.
this is where it all started, it was all to much for me to cope with, then theese dreams came along & they keep gettign worse, & worse, & worse, & worse. they are all very scary now i've woken up screaming & my sister is getting scared, she said you was screaming, shouting, talking, moving, & then she said it was like soemone was pulling you around the room, she said it was so BAD!! that scared me,
but theese dreams are still carrying on, i try to think about nice things & i finally dose off, but i still go into a nightmare! & the last dream i had i woke up with blood all over my hands, will somebody out there tell me what this means? please? im really scared!

My Story: I have experienced things, felt things, and seen things ever since I was little. But this experience didn't happen TO me but only happens AROUND me. So when I was younger I would have bad dreams and I would ask one of my older brothers to come sleep in the bed with me. One night when I was about 5 or 6, I asked my oldest brother to sleep in my room and he did. Later on that night, he said he awoke to a black figure over him (mind you i"m sleeping in the bed right next to him). He says that the figure began choking him and he was trying to scream and wake me up and yell for my parents but he couldn't move or speak. He says he knows he wasn't dreaming, it was as real as anything else he's experienced. The next day he told me and my family about his experience, and til this day he will not stay in my room. I am now 21 years old and when my brother stays at my house he has seen the same black figure but only around my bedroom, outside of my door, never anywhere else. But whatever it is has not threatened my safety or made me feel uncomfortable. Could be a guardian??

My Story: when i was about 26 i gave birth to my daughter, Maddie, one day i was home alone with Maddie whilst my mum was at the grocery store. I heard Maddie cry so i went upstairs to get her, as soon as i layed my hand on the door knob she stopped crying, so i walked in and to my surprise she wasn't there. I looked literally everywhere under the duvet, under the bed, under her cot and in every room of the house...except for the cellar! The cellar always creeped me out since i've been a child but i couldn't wait for my mum to come back home because my child could of been in serious danger. I searched every corner of the cellar but there was no sign of Maddie.I went into the living room and sat down on the couch trying to think where she could be, then i heard her cry again so i ran upstairs as fast as i could and there she was lying in her cot. I told my mum about this but neither of us could find an explanation for what happened.

My Story: When I was about 4 or 5 I lived in a apartment at the time and I had a scary experience. I remember I would always have scary dreams were this ugly creature would kill me in front of my mom. I always felt a evil presence around me and I constantly got sick with high fever. One night I was really scared because I had a feeling something was in the room with me; so I just pulled the covers over my head and tried to go to sleep. For some reason I decided to look around my room and when I did I saw this pitch black figure standing about 6ft just staring at me. I was in shock so I just stared at it for awhile and decided to ask who he was, but I got no answer. I felt so much evil at that moment so I screamed for my dad, my dad ran in and the figure was still there but its like he didn't see it, so he turned the light on and the figure turned into smoke and disappeared. After that night I never wanted to go back in there but my parents made me. Another night I was trying to go to sleep but I heard a voice saying my name and it sounded like my mom but I knew she was asleep, so I got out of bed anyway and started walking down the hallway but I felt like someone was behind me so I turned around and that same black figure was behind me but I ignored it and continued walking. I entered my parents room and I noticed my dad wasn't there but I noticed my mom was being held by three tall figures and they started talking to me but I don't remember what they were saying. Nothing else happened after that and I eventually moved. Recently I ha e been seeing a lot of black crows around my house and I was wondering what that meant. From my experience I believe that figure in my room was a demon and the other three were also demons.

My Story: Through out my life I have had many paranormal experiences. Kindergarden at my grandmothers I have seen shadows, orbs, voices, and felt as if being watched, but never scared i figured its because we lived across the street from a cemetry. 1st grade I was ready to go to sleep, I layed down and a mans face stared at me just his face. 4th grade I felt scared to walk in my house, I felt as if im being watched. 5th grade we i was with my Auntie we heard foot steps walking upstairs in my room and hallway we thought someone broke in but when we looked up the stairs the foot steps were right in front of us and then stopped. My bed had shaked one night as if my mom were waking me up for school I woke up and darkness was around me room i could barely see out of my window. 8th grade I walked to the kitchen around 5:30am to make breakfast before i turned the light on there was a little girl staring at me i turned the light on and she dissapeared. 11th grade My dad had dreams about me being trapped with a dark presence we have noticed doors opening and closing tvs turned on things missplaced in weird places. one night my blankets were being pulled off of me i was being watched but i could not see who was watching. 12th grade I was sleeping then for three nights straight at exactly 3:17am i would wake up not being able to breath, talk or move then finally i could talk on the third night my boyfriend stood on the phone with me he heard a strange sound like a groan and then i gasped for air he screamed my name then he decribed me as disorientated because that night i dont even remember falling asleep i woke up to my mom calling around 3pm. 12 grade i moved in with my boyfriend and things died down until one night we argued i went to bed alone then i woke up not being able to talk with something pulling my legs apart finally i gained control and saw the my boyfriend had been trying to get in the room because the door was sealed shut the blankets were pulled off. things died down for a few months the again my legs were being pulled apart i couldnt move for about 5 minutes then it went away. One night i had a dream about a girl she was dead at first in my dream i m not sure if it was her but something tried to kill me first it was darkness dragging me into my room, then it tried to suffocate me with the shower curtain , in the dream i got a call on my phone it was the girl she sang a song for her father then she said she wanted a friend i asked her name she said Tanya exactly how its spelled in my dream she showed herself to me she was a little girl about 10 years old. I did not know what she wanted. Since then sometimes i feel a dark energy around me and i get scared but sometimes i feel happy for no reason. I dont know what to make of it but till this day I still feel something. Understand every grade was a different house we had to move a lot.

My Story: Ever since I was little I have experienced some strange things which I really can't explain. I have felt, heard and seen things and as I have gotten older it has became stronger. My Dad is also in the same boat. As a child, I was lying face down on my bed when I felt something jump on top of me, lying along my back. It felt to me like an adult. I squirmed and kicked and after about 15 seconds I felt the weight leave. There was nothing there.

I have seen blue orbs in my living room, however I felt very calm when I saw those. I hear someone walking around my house, opening cupboards and doors. I have a strong sense of being watched, especially at night. I have seen demonic type apparitions near cemeteries (I am not religious, I don't know if that makes a difference). I have seen a figure of a black shadow man (that's the only way I can describe it). I would have assumed I was just seeing things however my dog was sitting on my lap and looked at the exact same spot, growling. It was a large, masculine shape. My mood changes in different areas of my house and random times. I have moved house a few times and the issues have been in every house, only aimed at my Dad and myself. My mother and brother have experienced nothing. Over the past 2 years I have woken up in different areas of my house, sometimes with one area of my body in pain. I am getting more concerned lately as I am moving out with my boyfriend soon and I am worried he will be effected.

I have told a few people about these occurrences and they laugh or say I am crazy. I feel like an entirely normal person, I am a teacher, I live in a nice area, I have a normal job and am very happy. I don't know who to talk to about this and I think I need some advice!

My Story: My mom , my aunt and I decided one day to go to Old Fort Niagara and we had a really good time it was warm sunny and they even had a renactment canon shooting! After that we went down to a place in the fort where they keep the large canons and we were walking around down there when i feel like i am being watched so i start taking pictures and i walk over to a part of the room near a cannon and i feel a cold spot and it was about 98 degres that day and there were no windows so it was no wind! i showed my mom , and aunt and they agreed that it was a big temp drop ! They started walking towards the stairs to the rest of the fort and for some strange reason i whisper " if you are going to show up, show up on my camera " and i walk to the stair my mom and aunt ahead of me and i suddenly decide to turn and take a picture and as i do i see a shape fly up from the ground and i snap a picture of it! it even looked like a man! like he was leaning around a pillar to look at me! you can even see his hat and his uniform! all in all it was a very fun day!

My Story: I have always had paranormal esperiences and lived in a house with at least 6 ghosts.which never bothered me,but when i was about 6 yrs old i was standing in my livingroom when i saw coming through the open door a huge black shiny mass,i was terrified and tried to scream but nothing came out..i threw a spoon that i was holding at the time at it and it made a popping noise and bounced off and fell to the floor,the black mass disappeared..i am now 45 but the memory is still very vivid..and on another point i see the same black substance like a spiderweb floating over my children when they sleep

My Story: When I was really young, I used to have this shadow in my room, or I guess that's the best way to describe it. It was a snake that used to slither on my ceiling and around my bed, I never used to think anything of it but it happened all the time when I was going to sleep, and not just at my house, at my grandmas house as well. I would just watch it go around and around until I fell asleep.

My Story: I returned from a trip abroad in early October to be told by my family that my dogs had been waking my family barking in the early hours of the morning for the 5 consecutive days I had been away and for no apparent reason (I have 4 dogs) The following night the dogs woke the family again and myself and my son went downstairs to investigate We both jiontly witnessed a light ball(rainbow coloured orb) appear in front of us...I have never witnessed anything so strange or beautiful It is now November and the light orb continues to appear almost nightly in my bedroom I have photos of the event one night when it appeared beside my bed and woke me up so brilliant was its light, It was the size of a dinner plate and glowing My son said the night it he saw it the ball floated up the stairs and began to form a head and shoulders...it appears to be following me I am not scared by it since it is so pretty Often my bedroom ceiling looks like some one has thrown glitter in to the air and it sparkles Any ideas on what it could be? I am a registered nurse and for weeks now my logic defies what I am experincing No one believed me until I took the photos now I am being encouraged to seek out what it represents .

My Story: I use to have frequent visits from spirits in my bedroom at night, it started with hearing soft footsteps in the carpet at the side of the bed and the cat sitting upright moving it's head and eyes left to right and back again as though someone was pacing the room. As the weeks passed I forgot about it until I was lying in bed with my arm under the pillow, and my hand hanging over the top of the bed when I felt a small tug on one of my fingers, then again, I ignored it to start with thinking it was just a nerve twitching. The next night it happened again but this time it was my whole hand, and I could physically feel another hand on mine, it felt small, like a childs hand, it was warm and gentle but that did'nt stop me from being startled by it and my pulse going into overdrive... over the course of the next few weeks I had many visits from spirits, one of them was a short gentleman, wearing a roughly made suit with baggy trousers and a cap, quite dirty looking and rugged, he appeared in the corner of the room near the door night after night and we just stared at each other. One night my wife woke as he stood there and she started screaming, she was screaming there's a man in the room, there's someone standing in the corner, this was the first time she had ever had such an experience and so I told her he had been visiting for a while but he didn't speak and so I was unsure of what he wanted even though I had asked on one of his visits. He didn't come back for a few nights, but when he did I could sense something was different, I sat up in the bed and as soon as I had I could see he was holding the hand of a small girl aged 4 or 5 years old. He spoke for the first time and simply said "she is lost", the little girl looked up at the man and he nodded with approval, she turned back to me and asked if she could stay with us and if I would look after her. It was all a bit surreal, I was having a conversation with a spirit in my room and they were asking the impossible... I had to say no and at that the man rubbed the little girls shoulder, they both turned and left the room and I did't see them again. I was then inundated with spirit for weeks afterwards, until I stopped acknowledging their presence. For a time, I was having so many visits my wife was considering that I may have some form of personality disorder. I believe that when you accept a spirit that the news travels in the spirit world and they make a bee line for the door they know is open. Strangely though, when my mum passed away I was sure I would receive her but I didn't, just hints that she is near, little things that I know are her.

My Story: We had just stripped the wallpaper off our hall and i was sat at the top of the stairs looking at the wall when i noticed a letter H scratched into the wall very high up. I said the letter out loud and from behind me somebody said "thats me that is" i turned around quickly but no-one was there but i could hear someone walking around on the landing. Even though i couldn't see him i knew he was there but i think he was friendly. This really creeped me out though as my bedroom is in the attic and i can hear all sorts from up there.

My Story: Ever since I was 3 I lived in a nice big house. My parents had built this house on land that used to be fields on which a farmer planted on years ago. When they built on it, it was just dirt. When I was 3 i always felt there was more people in the house than just family. I put it off as just "faries" that walked around. As I got older and a bit older I got into watching paranormal show and I started thinking that stuff happened to me. One day I asked my mom if anything strange ever happened to her. She told me no and to not worry about it. I got scared to walk to the house. I always had that horrible dark feeling someone was watching me and was not going to stop. Always by my moms room at night I felt like there was someone there pushing me to run. In my room late at night I would close my eyes tight and hold the blanket around me feeling that someone was by my side at night watching me and was angry. One night I was watching TV and I saw a black figure shadow thingy and got terrified all of a sudden my TV went off I got scared and said in my mind i need to go to bed anyway. I woke up about 2 hours later to my lights going on and off. I got terrified and I shut my eyes tightly and hid under my blankets.my lights stopped and turned off again. I was terrified and moved away about 6 months later. I never told anyone. I recently found out someone died in those dirt fields years before my parents built that house.

My Story: After dinner I was brushing my teeth near the corridor when a jug flew from across the balcony and into the toilet on my left. The distance from the balcony to the toilet is about 8 feet and the jug crashed with so much force and speed that it made a loud thud and I only saw a blur. And I was alone in the house.

My Story I can't prove to you that this is paranormal, but it is truly unexplainable. My great-grandmother lived in an add on "apartment" in my grandmother's house. Recently, my great-grandmother passed away after breaking her hip while in already critical condition. Now, here's the story. My grandmother is a very precise woman, she's bought the same products for years and I don't think she'll ever stop. Well she ran out of toothpaste the other day and she realized this while she was on the phone with my aunt. She eventually gave her mouth a break from all the talking and went upstairs to her bathroom. To her surprise, there was a tiny, travel sized toothpaste sitting on her bathroom sink. She cannot recall any time in her life that she has bought the mini size of anything, let alone toothpaste. I would love to explain what may have happened, but I can't even begin to think of a logical reason. My grandfather is the only other person who had been in the house at the time. Now, for her other experience. I can't recall if it was before or after my great-grandmother had passed away, but my grandmother had dropped her wedding band on the kitchen floor and it rolled to who-knows-where. She had borrowed one from my aunt who just happened to have one handy until something happened- The wedding band had been lost for months already and my grandmother knew that she wouldn't be getting it back any time soon. Well, this weekend she was vacuuming her house after a long day with her grandchildren and as she got to the refrigerator, the wedding band rolls out from under it. She’s got on of those old hunk of junk refrigerators, too. I don’t even think there’s room for anything to roll underneath of it. I was very shocked to hear that all of this had already happened and I'm sure that it is not the end. I'd like to think my nan is finally repaying my grandma for everything she's done for her.

My Story: Since i was younger i always had this feeling that someone was beside me at night, it was only was a minor feeling when i was young but it started to get worse as i grew up. then at the age of 13 my eye colour changed but only in one of my eyes i thought at first it was just sometjing i had done? but it started to change each day! At this time i was 15 years old and i was asked to babysit my neighbours younger son he was only 3. i put him to bed a round about 10'oclock as layed down in my setea my eye colourr had got worse i was just about to ring an emergancy doctor when the baby monitor (for the kid) started making weird wispering sounds and let out a loud screech i picked it up i was scared as i was only 15 at the time then a whisper came fromm the monitor saying "im here, and i want to be born" i remember this clearly! i jumped i went up stairs and everything was normal. When i was 16 i went to a doctor to find out that since that i was a twin but i took everything thing to help it live away from it.I went to to exorcist to find out that from the age of 2 my unborn twin has been haunting me!

My Story: I should preface what I have to say with I have a lot of paranormal in my life. Much of it is documented. Some say a door has been opened. With that said...

I flew down to see my daughter in CA. She is in her early 20's and a night owl. I went to bed early and awoke the next day with a dream that I was holding up my hand, while lying in bed, saying to someone that I couldn't see, "I can't help you". I thought about the dream for some time before getting up. When I did my shoulder was very sore.

Then later that day we were at Disneyland. I look down at my left arm and I have a gouge of what appears to be that of a finger/thumb nail. It was much rounder than my nails and in a position I couldn't have made it. Then I looked at my other arm and then at my hand. There I saw another gouge of what seemed to be from my diamond ring being forced into my skin.

I remembered my dream, my sore shoulder, and now these gouges. It left me believing I had been pulled out of bed. The headboard was made of iron posts and it was like I was holding on with my left arm and someone/thing had pulled me off and another pulled my hand so hard that my diamond broke my skin.

My Story: I see ghosts fairly frequently, in my home, in town, in my friends houses on school trips. But, one particular incident really freaked me out and still does to this day. You know when you get those dreams when you're just nodding off where you'll suddenly hit the ground or something and you wake up suddenly? Well I was just nodding off and I was drifting in and out so sometimes I was in a dream, other times I could see my room. Then, I looked out the side of my bed and saw a little boy lean into me and I figured it was in my dream, until the little boy drove a knife at me with speed and I was so shocked, I opened my eyes instantly and sat up. It took my breath away for a bit but it wasn't until the morning that I properly realised it wasn't a dream. Another time I was sitting in Starbucks and my mum went to the loo and I just sat looking out the window. A man walked past, very slowly, and I just studied him for a moment, noticing his grey-ish face, sad expression, tall thin body, dull clothing. I looked up the road and two women with a pushchair each and 3 or 4 children between them were approaching and I thought how amuzing it would be seeing the man trying to get past them. But, he did, with ease. I didn't exactly see him go through them, but they didn't acknowledge him, didn't even look at him. They carried on chatting and the man seemed to continue on up the road, staring in the same direction the whole time. At this point my Mum came back from the toilet and I looked at her, then back at the man, and he was gone. I explained this to her and she was too creeped out but we've both got used to me seeing spirits. I'd just rather not experience anymore bad spirits!

My Story: A few year ago a friend of mine asked me if it was possible for me to collect a female relative of his from Swaffham market square. It was arranged and and I decided to travel along the country lanes to Swaffham as to taking the busier roads. Anyway, I have for many years been interested in archaeology and this journey took me pass an old roman settlement at Narford, Norfolk. Every time I visit this place I can imagine, on a small field opposite the bridge over the river, a small white temple where obviously people would frequent. I drove pass the area and after a few miles arrived in Swaffham.
I didn't have to wait very to collect my passenger and met her as arranged. The point and interesting aspect of my story concerned the drive home. I went home again through the back roads chatting now and again to my passenger. We approached the bridge at Narford when I turned to look at her and she seemed puzzled and looked very pale. I asked her what the problem was and to my complete astonishment she came out with this: "Your not going to believe this but on that small field back there (pointing) she said she saw this lovely small white building like a small temple or folly. Then suddenly it vanished. You have to believe me on this but we had not talked about anything whatsoever to do with things ancient, just simple chit chat but why she should say this, which obviously freaked me for a considerable time, is even today baffling. I have no explanation, no sensible reasoning for any of it. Just one of those bizarre things that happens I guess.

My Story: My mother died this past jan 2011, I was happy for her that she was finally at peace since she had alzheimers for 11years. One day i came into my apt and my ceiling light was on and a picture above my tv was dropped on the left side,it was extremely bothersome to me since i was sure i never turned that ceiling light on and the picture was hanging fine prior to my departure for the day. 4 days later it about about 5:00am i was in my room totally awake when i saw a light in my hallway, i thought to myself is that timer on the lamp not working correctly as i was thinking that i heard a loud noise like stuff was falling out of my closet. I thought maybe the cat had gotten into the closet, When i walked down the hallway from my bedroom i saw the cat on the tower in the living room absolutely frozen in place with her hair standing straight up. At this point i wasn t sure if anyone had broken into the apartment so i waited, i noticed the light switch on the wall was turned on and the ceiling light illuminated in the dining area. I was scared and very startled. I looked around the living room saw no one was there i waited quietly in the hall praying if someone had broken in they just take what they want and get out. So i waited a few minutes and didn't hear anything else. I checked the front door and it had not been opened and the dead bolt clearly still secured. It was apparent no one had physically entered the apartment. As i turned around i saw the picture above the tv dropped on the left side the tack had again been removed from the wall but was still in the picture itself. I was really freaked out. It wasn t until the next day i noticed a framed picture i keep of my mother on the kitchen counter leaning up against the back wall turned out on the left side away from the wall. My mother was left handed. I also noticed what appeared to be a left hand print in the dust on my tv stand. The print inself was 4 skeletal digits and an obvious thumb print. When i factored in everything i observed, i came to the conclusion it was my mother in my apartment . I found it very unsettling and very disturbing. I picked up a picture of her and said if this is you stop it , i don t want you sending me messages from beyond. My mother was a great mother and a great person. However, having experienced a paranormal event i can truly say it will haunt me, It was totally unbelieveable, i can t even try to rationalize away the events that took place .I was wide awake when they took place. It was the 2nd time in less then a week and the days were significant. On Sunday i had just come home from hosting a bridal shower for my niece, and on Thursday it was my nephews birthday, I have no doubt it was my mother.

My Story: Ii have been experiencing something strange for a couple of months maybe a year now, but its strange and i carent help but feel that something is watching me, or standing behind me and following me, i get this feeling in cerrtain places either in my mums house or my dads house. also when i go for walks down this alley way where i live i see things and hear things moving and snapping branches behind me sometimes this really scares me but i know it's there and if i'm in a house and i feel that its there i'm scared to even go any where near where it is. am i imagining this or is there something really with me ??

My Story: I have heard my dad talk about this strange black shadow that keeps appearing to him when something is going to happen, this shadow appeared to him when he found a strange lump underneath his arm, that when he got tested was cancer. this shadow then appeared to him again when he split up with his wife. could this shadow be warning him that somehting is going to happen and trying to help him from getting hurt????

My Story: I don't know if you've seen this recent video posting but it allegedly shows something I've been reporting on for a while, albeit with limited success and thought may be of interest:

Apparently this is a group of lads in a car just after a crash on the M6 happened.

My Story: Since the age of 17 I have lived and worked all over the UK in my capacity as a Hospitality Manager. In 1993 I returned to my home town in the North East from a Hotel Managers position in Windsor Berkshire, where countless things happened, this however in not about the hotel ,it`s about a theme bar in Darlington Co.Durham, one of the first of it`s kind in the town.
Having taken the deputy managers position I settled in well and made some good friends with the staff and customers. However over the course of a few months It become apparent that all was not as it seemed with the building, especially after hours. We found out the original use for the building had been something to do with Jehovah witnesses, and had been used as a kind of holding area for the dead during the second world war..
There were always little things that occurred after the Bar was closed and the staff were having a drink. Noises in the kitchen on the second floor when you knew no one was up there. Doors slamming behind you for no reason, the music would turn it`s self up with no one in the DJ box.
One particular evening we were having a little staff party after work, I was stood behind the bar getting a couple of drinks and talking to two of the staff when I noticed a woman in a short flowery dress walking up the stairs in front of me, presumably to go to the toilet . From behind she looked very nice and I asked the two guys at the bar with me who she was, when we all looked over she was not there, the staff told me there was no one but work colleagues here. We searched the entire second floor and found no one. Another occasion myself and a member of staff were stood at the end of the bar having a smoke, there were no customers in as it was about 9.30 on a wet Tuesday winters night, Without warning we both heard a huge crash above us, enough to make us both jump, we ran up the stairs and began looking for the source of the noise only to find the trays of cutlery in the kitchen all over the floor, but the trays were still on the work tops... empty.
Lots of incidents occurred over the 4 years I worked there but the last major one still haunts me to this day, we were locking up the building after a fairly quiet night, the control box for all the lights and the alarm was under a flight of stairs next to the front double doors. Mark my colleague was outside pulling the huge metal shutter down halfway , I reached under the stairs and turned all the lights off,the only light left being from the fire route and escape lights, I dont know what made me look up but as I did I saw something that made my heart freeze, facing me on the second level balcony was a huge blacker than black shape, it looked like a tall person in black hooded monk like robes, I knew I was alone in the building. Within a few seconds I banged the alarm code into the box and ran outside slamming the shutter behind me as I went. Even as I headed to my car I did not turn around to look at the building which had huge windows taking up most of the front. Many other things happened after that but nothing to compare to seeing that figure......

My Story: When I was five years old, we had a telephone call from the hospital that our Nan had died. The wierd thing being ten minutes before the call i woke up screaming. I think i dreamt of something but im not too sure. Could of been coincidence.

However in 2008 when my Grandad passed away, being 17 i again woke up before we got the information hed passed away. Didnt scream this time and no dream as i can remember. But that night before i had that feeling something wasnt right and when i did wake i knew instantly what had happened even before our Nan phoned us and was saying the paramedics were still trying revive him.

Moreover, i hate walking through graveyards. Headaches develop when we went to visit my Grandads grave, i can never spend long in graveyards. But it could just be me being weird!
